Steamtown's Scranton Limited and Delaware Lackawanna DL1
Author: sscannella

Stopped by Scranton Yard Saturday afternoon after visiting my father at the hospital. Timing was perfect, as the DL1 job was returning through the Steamtown South switch after interchanging with NS in Taylor Yard, and the Steamtown Yard shuttle was getting ready to make its final trip of the day. The DL job held back on the Mall siding while the Baldwin made its way by on the Steamtown runner and up to the University of Scranton.

While waiting for the Scranton Limited to back down, the Electric City trolley Museum's trolley made a return from the Laurel Line.

Once the Steamtown job cleared, the DL1 job with 3 4-axle Alcos headed east with its 16 cars to store at Nay Aug.
